PLUMBING
Plumbing systems may not be glamorous, but they are a necessary part of every building.
From coordination of plumbing to serve HVAC to domestic water supply, sanitary sewer, compressed air, and medical gas systems, Insight has plumbing covered.
Our plumbing approach is founded in coordination and collaboration to ensure a reliable, sustainable system for the Owner.
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Use of 3D, computer-aided design (CAD) tools is standard in our approach. Our team is experienced with Revit and other CAD programs that provide a visual look at the project before any construction starts.
This allows for improved coordination of MEP systems by allowing our team to see—and resolve—potential problems before they happen in the real world. We coordinate with the Architect and other team members to model, detect, and solve clash, fit, alignment, and other issues.
We have a dedicated Director of CAD / BIM Technologies who ensures consistency, quality, and coordination in our modeling efforts.
Our BIM approach results in detailed design documents that are fully coordinated and tested for quality control.
